Class Opportunities -- throughout the year
- Each Fall &
Spring we try to offer courses in Basic
and Intermediate steps and techniques. Please
contact
us if you would like to be notified when upcoming
classes are scheduled.
- Private lessons (individual or group) and coaching services
are
available upon request for dancers of all levels. These are
opportunities to improve general technique, address specific concerns
or performance skills, and add depth to your choreographic or
improvisation abilities.
- Add a special flair to
a girl’s night or afternoon and schedule a mini group lesson
in your home. Perfect for teen parties and
sleepovers, a
bachelorette
party, or any time you want some extra excitement. Cost
depends on the
length
of the lesson (30
minutes up to an hour) and the number of people attending. A 10-minute solo
performance can also be
included.
- Annual Fall Workshop
and Show. We routinely bring in national- and world-famous
dancers to teach a two- or three-day weekend workshop and showcase them
in a show with the troupe. Workshops are typically designed
towards dancers who
are familiar with basic bellydance movements.
- Dancers who have taken
two levels of
classes (or the equivelent) may be eligible to attend regular Daughters
of the New Moon troupe rehearsals to practice technique and
choreography.
